August 6th Meeting

Our speaker was James Vandiver, who presented a program entitled "Care Giving and Its Impact on Business." He spoke about the adverse economic effects on businesses that are caused by employees taking time away from their jobs to act as caregivers, and he talked about the stress on caregivers. He encouraged anyone who may be serving in role of caregiver to take care of themselves. His words certainly hit "home" with many of our members who find themselves in the "sandwich" generation.
