NPEF Student Showcase

Every year, the Newport Public Education Foundation hosts a Student Showcase, with exhibits and performances by local students. They enlist our help to serve supper to those attending the event. Tt is very easy, the food is all prepared. We just have to set up tables, serve food and drinks, collect payment, and clean up after ourselves. Rotary Information Meeting - Guests Needed

We will be conducting a "Rotary Information Meeting" on Tuesday, May 18th. The purpose of this meeting is to educate community leaders and activists on how Rotary works and can be a resource to assist them in their activities and objectives. We conducted a meeting like this in the late 90's, and it was tremendously successful, so we are doing it again. For us, this will just be a regular meeting, except there will be seven speakers instead of just one, and we all need to be here 15 minutes early.

Most importantly, we need to invite community activists and leaders to this meeting. Put on your thinking caps and give Terri at least one name of someone who is active in the community and who would benefit from knowing more about how we work and what we can do. If you wish, Terri will keep the source of any names you submit anonymous. The committee members (Terri, Donna, Al, Regina, and Lynne) will contact the invitees on your behalf.

March 30 Meeting Announcements

This is open to anyone, not just rotary members, as it is a fundraiser. Tell your friends and coworkers about it! For more information or to sign up, see the Yarmouth club's Fundraiser Cruise page.

Polo Magazine - WAY behind

We are well behind last year's productivity. We are at less than 50%, and ads are due in 10 days. Please get your past advertisers in this time if possible. Please also volunteer to contact somebody new from this list - select a business or individual that interests you, and email Avram or Donna for their contact information.

The regular Polo committee meeting will be held Thursday, 7:30am at the Atlantic Grille (past tense - sorry! - Avram)
