Mike and Bill Williams co-chaired the Rotary Free Tree project again this year. They have it down to a science!

In addition to thier great work, Marianne Gable found a good source of deciduous trees to add variety to the distribution. The club gave away 200 Red Oaks and 100 Tulip trees along with 5,000 Colorado Blue Spruce.

Marianne also spearheaded Rotary participation in the Earth Day Expo held in Historic Downtown Delaware. The Club had a tree seedling table to encourge the public to plant trees for the good of old Mother Earth.

In addition to co-chairs, Mike and Bill Williams, special thanks goes to Marianne Gable, Bob Fuller, John Tombarge, John Donahue, Fran Veverka, and the Delaware County Bank for all they did to help make the program a a great success.

Thanks also goes to our fantastic Rotary Club Members who gathered on April 15 to package pre-ordered trees in record time and with great skill.

This project only exists because of the hard work and commitment of our Club members.
