Dan Whited, Economic Development Director for the City of Delaware, spoke to the Club on June 4, giving members an update on city economic development projects and future plans.

| Whited stated that Economic Development is the lifeblood of any community, particularly in these trying economic times. Economic Development is a priority for the City of Delaware, and the "Community of Opportunity" brand is supported by four pillars: 1) Business Attraction, 2) Business Retention and Expansion, 3) Incentives, and 4) Quality of Life. |
