Walk of Fame - Chud – Our club pays $550 per plaque & we do one each year.  On the Walk of Fame, each organization has a street corner which they sponsor.  The city has upgraded tiles, the first generation were too slippery, the upgraded editions are more expensive.

Treasurers report – Tom Gooch

In re our bill, $1,200, for Rotary International (RI), at the present time we have 33 members, on our RI roster there are two new members, Rich and Chandi who need to be added. District dues have been paid which is also $1,200.  We have approx. $1,200 in our Bank of Whitman account. We’ll maintain the status quo.   CD at American West, $10,000 scholarship money and we have roughly $10,000 in our checkbook.

We will henceforth have these brought to the Board through the Community Service Committee, with their recommendation.

Club Public Relations – Kathleen

International – John Brewer

Our sponsorship the Honduran kids will continue.  Another opportunity is a program to provide sanitation toilets in a village in Nepal.  We will publicize at membership that our Happy Bucks are used for these programs.   Our mug-program may evolve to a contribution on behalf of the guest speaker to one of our charities.  The Honduran giving opportunity may come up again  around Christmas time. An additional opportunity may be explored involving Guatemalan literacy.
