My Definition of "Technical Difficulties"
Editor: Wendy Anderson

As I mentioned in an e-mail earlier this week, last weeks bulletin would be combined with this weeks because of technical difficulties.

I was unable to attend the meeting of Sept. 26th and asked Laurie Smith to take notes as she has in the past. We made arrangements for her to fax the information to me so I could update our bulletin. Laurie had been having fax issues in the past but was sure her machine was functioning properly. The first fax I received was blank so I asked her to try again only this time with the pages upright, after all, I am the blond here.... not her. I didn't receive anything for the entire weekend and informed Laurie so she could once again focus on her "less than efficient" machine and hopefully this time have it fixed properly. I can't tell you how bad I felt for her extreme frustration!! Laurie hand delivered the notes last Tuesday so I could include them in this weeks letter. After returning to my office from our latest Rotary meeting I began looking over a stack of information that a client of mine had faxed over the weekend. As I updated the file and arranged his paperwork I noticed a couple of  hand written notes at the bottom of the pile. Hmmmmmmm, these didn't make any sense especially the part that read "Rotary credit cards can benefit our club". As I got to the name "Hugh" I felt the color drain from my face..........need I say more! As for Laurie, "you are wonderful and so is that amazing fax machine"!!
