The site now features the beginning of a documented history of our Club. Founded as an unchartered Rotary Club on June 12, 1918, with the help of the Santa Barbara Rotary Club, we became one of the first Clubs in California. We were chartered by Rotary International less than a year later. Check out the May 16, 1919 Charter Session handout, the first item in our Downloads section of this home page. There are also downloads of representative documents from the 1920's through the 1960's. The picture is of the Athene Club, our meeting place in the 1920's. Click on the About Our Club section on the left side of the home page to learn more.
