The Howell Rotary will resume its weekly meetings and mission of service above self with a Lunch Meeting Monday, July 13, following our Independence Day Break.

President Jeff Hansen will host a Club Assembly addressing the critical issues of Membership and Fund Raising.

On July 20th, the Howell Rotary will host our District Governor Judy Garver.

On July 27th, Peter Bowen will discuss "breaking down silos to strengthen our community" and Day of Caring.

Annual dues are due so to speak, so please see Dan Murdock and arrange for your annual, semi annual or quarterly payment.

And while July 4th has come and gone, please remember those in the Military who help us maintain our freedom.

The Howell Rotary will host its annual meeting Monday, June 22 at the historic Howell Opera House in downtown Howell.

President Kim Dane, who was quoted as saying "time flies when you are having fun," will conclude her year as our president, honor a number of club members for their efforts and for time in service, and hand over the gavel for the Rotary Bell to President Elect Jeff Hansen.

Tickets are $30 and join us from Noon to 1:30 pm for this festive occasion to reflect on the successes of the past year with President Kim at the helm and plan for the upcoming year with President Jeff.

On Friday, June 26th to June 28,  a number of Rotarians will volunteer their services for parking at the annual Howell Balloonfest. There is still time to sign up so please see Jeanne Clum. The Howell Rotary will be paid for each hour served at the event by a Rotarian.

The Livingston County Rotarian Networking event  scheduled at Crystal Gardens has been temporarily postponed due to Club conflicts but stay tuned for a new date.

Dan Murdock has announced that Annual Dues are due, so if you pay annually, quarterly or whatever, the tax man cometh!

Dan will chair the meeting June 29th on the subject of Geneology.

There will be no meeting on July 6th as the Howell Rotary has proclaimed that July 4th is really on the 6th this year!

Bob Lura will present a program for the June 8th Meeting called "Internet Real Estate."

There will be a Howell Rotary Board Meeting at 11 am prior to the regular meeting on June 8.

June 15: The annual picnic at West Street Park at the Rotary Pavilion.  This is a great social event.  No formal program.

June 22: Our annual luncheon at the Opera House.  We will bring in the new president, Jeff Hansen, and bid our wonderful Kim a pleasant life as ex-president.  Awards will be given for those Rotarians who participated in club activities.   The cost is $30.

Howell Rotarians will be manning the Parking for annual Howell Balloonfest June 26-28. Our Club will receive a donation for every hour put in by a Howell Rotarian. Shifts are available for Saturday and Sunday so please see Jeanne CLum.

Livingston County Sheriff Mike Kinaschuk will share with us a program being delivered to local schools on how to prevent violence in the schools.

Howell Rotary will take a look at the movies for our meeting January 26th.
