The Rotary Club of Northbrook sent $3,000 on January 15th, 2010 to ShelterBox for three boxes to be sent to Haiti.
Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and lifesaving equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless. The contents are tailored depending on the nature and location of the disaster, with great care taken sourcing every item to ensure it is robust enough to be of lasting value.

It is now 2010. Maybe you think that new year resolutions are either hokey, out-of-date, or both. But there ARE resolutions that we seriously can make, and keep.
- Resolve to financially support The Rotary Foundation
- Resolve to actively participate in a club committee
- Resolve to attend the District Conference in Lake Geneva
- Resolve to attend the Rotary International convention in Montreal
- and last, but certainly not least, resolve to live by the Rotary 4-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do.

What if you became incapacitated from a car accident or other emergency situation? How would your family or designated emergency contact learn of your situation? Law enforcement can now contact them for you from the information you provide on the Illinois Secretary of State's Emergency Contact Database. People with an Illinois instruction permit, driver's license or identification card can enter personal emergency information into this voluntary, secure database. Only law enforcement and Secretary of State employees can access the information on the database; you can add, modify, or delete your information at any time.

The club member directory has moved! You can now find a complete, current member directory on our club web-site at www.northbrookrotary.org. Names, addresses, pictures, phone, fax, cell, e-mail - it's all there. But it is safe and secure. Visitors to our web-site cannot access the directory to protect your privacy. Members must log in and then select the ADMIN page. You can print your own membership directory in the section named My ClubRunner. You can also update your own information (including a more flattering photo) in the My ClubRunner section. Rotary International's Code of Policies prohibits using a Rotary membership list as a mailing (or emailing) list for a non-Rotary purpose.
