Bart Noble presented information about the RCPC 4 Way Test Speech Contest to HHS Interactors on Nov.5th. He discussed the 4 Way Test and how it applies to our daily lives, work, and school. The contest will be held in early January.

November is Rotary Foundation month, and during the month you'll have opportunities to learn more about the global outreach that your donations to the Foundation make possible. District 5810 will host a seminar on Saturday morning Nov. 7th and cover in detail topics like securing a district grant for a community project, Group Study Exchanges and the global impact of polio eradication, wheelchairs and clean water in Africa. All RCPC members involved in local and international service, as well our newest Rotarians will greatly benefit from attending this seminar. Then on the following Friday, Nov. 13th, two district officers will present an overview of the Foundation's outreach as our Club program. With this spotlight on the Foundation, November is the perfect time to start or continue your sustaining membership in the Foundation via Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY) - it only takes a donation of $100 a year. I encourage you to explore how you can be a part of The Rotary Foundation.

Tracy Gomes, Jarl Johnson and Linda Tunnell rode in the Hillcrest HS homecoming parade on Oct. 23rd. Jarl's vintage T-bird caused quite a stir along the parade route. The RCPC Circles of Success program is going strong and is one more way to promote RCPC!

RCPC members prepare and serve meals to the residents of Ronald McDonald House the 3rd Monday of each month. Marshall and Jerry each brought family members to help in the kitchen this past Monday night, Oct. 19th.

RCPC continues to support Meals on Wheels with over 20 members fatihfully deivering meals to the homebound in East Dallas each month. Shown here is Jim Wolfe delivering a meal to Samantha who is 98 1/2 years of age and still loves to dance.

Newly opened Vapiano's in Mockingbird Station was the site of October's PCR Connect. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the social gateheing has become a great complement to the Club's regular Friday luncheon meetings in building better friendships amojng members and guests.

| Barrier Free Playground to Open Nov. 3rd |

| The City of UP has scheduled a ribbon cutting ceremony for 2 p.m. on Tues. Nov. 3rd to open its new barrier free playgound at Cofffee Park. Earlier this year, the RCPC Foundation awarded a grant which pushed the total in private funds raised to $100,000. |
