Beverly Hills Rotarian and current City of Bell Gardens Police Department Chief of Police Robert P. Curtis recently visited with us at our October 29, 2009, Rio Hondo Bell Gardens/Commerce Rotary Club meeting at Steven's Steak & Seafood House Restaurant, and exchanged a Rotary Banner with the Club from the Beverly Hills Rotary Club. The Club also exchanged one of its own banner so their Club can have one as well.
Chief of Police Curtis was accompanied by City of Bell Gardens Police Department Captain Robert E. Barnes.

The Rio Hondo Rotary Club welcomed District 5280 Members to the first District Breakfast for 2009-2010. Small airplanes were distributed to all of the Pilots in the District. Joe Zarrahy is the Chairman for the District Breafasts this year. Governor Susanne Sundberg delievered her welcome and provided us with her background in Rotary. A very good start to the Rotary Year.
