"Bright Solutions from TEP"

This presentation captivated our Rotary Group.  TEP and Solar Energy - a commitment to Arizona! Betsy informed us of many of the ideas that TEP is working on to encourage home owners and businesses to incorporate Solar Energy, for both conservation and for financial benefits.
Please visit TEP's website discussing some of the programs and energy efficient ideas that TEP will incorporate in the near future. As a concerned consumer of energy, you really need to view these website links and understand how this will help both our environment and our future!

The Cub Scout Pack #221 bake sale was a huge success!  Thanks to Rotarian's contributions, $398 was raised!  The money will be used to defer the costs of the annual Blue and Gold  Celebration. This celebration is to acknowledge the anniversary of scouting and this year they will celebrate the 100th anniversary of Scouting.  Scouts and their families gather to celebrate this joyous occasion!  This year the theme is "Under the Big Top" and scouts will design table decorations and perform skits using this theme. Other entertainment will consist of having clowns for the scouts and their siblings.  This event will also be used to award all scouts who have completed the required achievement to meet their rank!   With your help the event is sure to be a success!  Thank you again for your generous contributions!

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. Paul P. Harris formed the world's first service club, the Rotary Club of Chicago, Illinois, on February 23rd, 1905. The name Rotary is derived from the early practice of rotating meetings among members' offices. Approximately 1.2 million Rotarians belong to more than 32,000 Rotary clubs located in over 200 countries. Saguaro Rotary joins the 51 other clubs in Southern Arizona ( District 5500 ) in supporting our community and the causes of Rotary International .
