| Champaign West Rotarians Donate Dollars to Community Service |

Champaign West Rotarians have identified more than a dozen local charities to receive nearly $9-thousand in grant donations during the upcoming funding year.
For Rotary year 2008-2009, the community service organizations identified for funding and the dollars allocated to each include the following:
Swann Special Care Center $1,125
Center for Women in Transition $2,000
Parkland College $1,200
Learning for Life $300
Rotary International $3,000
Fresh Water Now $1,000
Rotary Foundation $600
In addition to these grant donations, Champaign West Rotary has also identified the following community organizations to receive donations received through "tin cup" collections obtained weekly.
August collections: Success by Six
September: Homestead Corporation
October: St. Thomas Moore Interact Club
November: Family Service - Meals on Wheels
December: Rotary International
January: CU One to One Mentoring |
