Rick Noordam, a distinguish member of the Post Falls Rotary Club and active member of the communuity, shared with us his new passion...the Post Falls Community Garden. Their mission is to provide a place to grow sustainable, healthy foods that are grown locally. With a small amount of money and a handful of volunteers, the City of Post Falls Parks and Recreation Department has undertaken the challenge to build a new community garden on a series of city owned lots. Their goal is to build 58 bed gardens (4x8) and 15 family gardens (20x20) and to rent them out on a yearly basis..The 4x8 will be $40.00 a year and the 20x20 will be $100 a year.
