Col Mark Van Werth and several  of his airmen visited our Club today to share all of the wonderful things that Fairchild does to support not only our troops on the ground but also providing thousands of civilian jobs for the Spokane-Coeur d Alene corridor. Fairchild Air Force Base is located outside of Spokane, Wash. More than 5,000 people work on base.The host unit is the 92nd Air Refueling Wing and the associate unit is the 141st ARW of the Washington Air National Guard. An airmen who is the bomb expert for Fairchild brought his Military Working Dog. Dakota, a 9 years old Belgian Milnes, to our meeting and shared his combat experience with Dakota in Iraq and Afghanistan.
