Our guest speaker this week was David Holman, a former teacher at the college and high school levels who is the Project Coordinator for the Rotary District 7010 Mentorship Program. The Program is a partnership with Rotary District 7010 and the Government of Ontario and attempts to help people with disabilities to develop networks to get employment. David gave an interesting presentation about the barriers facing disabled people looking for meaningful employment and how each of us can help through the Mentorship Program. Mentoring could be one-on-one, in a group, or even Club sponsored.
