Outgoing President Gregg Riddle is Honored
|
The Boardman Rotary President's Party was held this past Saturday to
honor Gregg Riddle and his many accomplishments this past year. The
evening began with "Presidential" treatment as he was escorted by his
secret service and armed vehicle ...all precautions were taken for his
safety. Tom Davison entertained the members throughout the evening
after each member was screened for weapons of mass destruction upon
entering dinner. (Editor's note: only a few weapons were found.)
After the passing of the pins, Howard Mettee filled everyone in with
Greg's collegiate adventures at Capital University that made him
qualified to serve as President of our club this past year.
Gregg thanked the club, his officers and directors and said that he
looked forward to being able to sit with the club again and continue to
serve the club next year.
On a serious note...the honor of awarding a Paul Harris to a club member
also took place. It was with great admiration that the award was given
to both Celeste Lisko and Nina Hanna. Congratulations!
