MVR Pub Of The Month Is A Roaring Success.

| Thursday night found Rotarians from several clubs attending Boardman Rotary's Pub of the Month at the MVR. There were members from Boardman, Canfield, Poland and Youngstown Rotaries who attended and all had a great time. Approximately 65-70 people were at the function. Appetizers were provided, free drink coupons for new members and members who won coupons during rotary meetings were able to exchange them at the event.
The last Bocce game of the night was won by Boardman Rotarians (Joe Ignazio, Roger Myers, Jim Hammond, Jim Grantz and Tony Daprile). After being down in the game 8-1 to team Canfield (w/Bob Mastriana) team Boardman came roaring back to win 15-14. Although the win was with some controversy the games and entire night were filled with enough fellowship to last until next month. |
