It's always a special occasion when we honor our annual Camarillo Rotary scholarship winners, which we did at a recent meeting. Shown here (all from Camarillo High) are (left to right): Steven Chung, Timothy Foreman, Kathryn Enriquez, David Todd, Lauren Parker and Christina Faraci.

Winning the two Tish Taylor Scholarships were Kathryn Enriquez and Lauren Parker. Kathryn plans to attend Stanford to study bioengineering and later wants to go to medical school. Lauren will attend UCSB and is undecided on her major (possibly marine biology).
Our Rich Royce Memorial Scholarship winners were Christina Faraci, who will major in aerospace engineering at UC Irvine, and David Todd, who will be attending Moorpark College and then hopefully a UC or Ivy League university. He plans a dual major (Political Science and Psychology), then law school.
The Honn Memorial scholarships went to Steven Chung and Timothy Foreman. Steven is #1 in his graduating class at Cam High. He plans a trip to Taiwan this summer, then will attend UCSD as a biology major. Timothy is on his way to Columbia University where he will study engineering.
Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to Richard Wagner and his committee (Mary Vanderlaan, Venus Kirksey and Bill Kohagen) for another outstanding job in selecting this year's recipients.
