Hello! It was a good day with Dad! Quiet day-relaxed and hung out! A funeral director came to visit and we got a bit of therapy in, which does not usually happen on the weekends; just to see where Dad was at. No more protein liquid feedings at night-eating well enough and they can mix stuff to put in his tube. Bradley came to visit yesterday and was very excited, as are the rest of us that we can hear Dad talk to us! The staff is all smiles, too, and now that it is so much easier to talk, Dad is "full of it" when it comes to getting the staff "riled up"-all good things!! :) Hopefully next week we will hear more about getting his leg...more trying and fitting, but it will come with time. Please remember to leave messages and keep up the visits-especially now that the holidays are upon us! We understand that it may be harder to travel in the winter, and we want all who come to be safe, but if at all that you can make the trip, it will help keep Dad's spirits up! He is getting very lonely at times, and really wanting to get home! Also, you may drop a card in the mail, too! We appreciate all of the support that you have extended our way throughout these last six months! Without it, along with God's help and miracle work, we would not be in the place we are today! You have all held us up in prayer, and not only Dad, but Mom and us kids as well! There are no words enough to tell you how much we appreciate the words of encouragement and care and concern!
