Rotary Club of Windward President Margi Urquhart reports that our club  partnered with North Fulton Rotary Club to welcome the Soldiers and provide lunch at the USO Hartsfield Airport on September 30.
"Charles, the lead,  his parents, Patricia and Charles, Kathy Bowers,  Hal, Freda, Bettye, Bill Pinkerton, and my guest, Barb Feinour, and I had our hearts touched and changed by this event," Margi said.
"The day was amazing to have the opportunity to show our appreciation to the men and women who are putting their life on the line for us. 

many of the soldiers were taking a break for Lunch in the USO room before  heading off to Afghanistan," she said.
Making the day extra special and emotional for everyone there?
"One young soldier met his newborn  son for the first time as we  all watched the reunion with teary eyes," Margi said.
