The best teachers and students at two of Alpharetta's public schools were honored by Rotarians recently.
|
Students and teachers from two Fulton schools on Webb Bridge Road were honored by the Windward Rotary Club in its quarterly program.
Creek View Elementary and Webb Bridge Middle School students and teachers were honored on Dec. 6. Alpharetta High School's Student and Teacher of the Quarter were to receive their honors at a later date.
Creek View's best this past quarter were:
Student - Lauren MacRae Brown
Teacher - Valerie Curry
Just down the road from Creek View, at Webb Bridge Middle School, the quarterly winners were:
Student - Zach Alford
Teacher - Amber Gravitt.
Windward Rotary Club considers itself the education club, sponsoring these quarterly honors. In addition the club donates dictionaries for all third graders at Manning Oaks Elementary School, donates a book in each guest speaker's name to that school's media center and participates in other literacy events.
