Speaker: Leslie Hester, Co-President of Needham Boosters discussed some of the fund raising efforts of the Boosters, including the sticker drive which raised $15K. Two upcoming events are the Christmas tree sale for the month of December and the celebrity basketball event to be held at BabsonCollege.
She also suggested that Rotary and Boosters partner on one event.
An immediate need is for a golf cart to help move injured players, fans with disabilities and move equipment between the fields and school. Cost is about $2500-2800 for a used cart. Deb Donovan has a contact at a cart place that she will contact to see if they can be of help. Leslie would like to get the cart within two weeks.
