We will budget $500 for the International
student picnic next year

Rotary Friendship Exchange- $600 (with input
from Dennis) there were three events
funded by the club: lunch in Colfax, Southfork reception, and a trip to
Ferdinands. The consensus is that we do
these when as opportunities evolve. It
was a good visit with lots of club involvement.
Community Service – Mick

Parking at the football games is going
well. Two games have been worked thus
far. Next home game Oct 15 when the
Cougs take on Stanford. Mark you
calendars, November 12 is a big parking game-day for the Rotary. The rowers and

Club Public Relations – Kathleen
· In the
Community Page of the PR Review we have one entry four times annually
publication. The board reviewed the projects,
which could be highlighted periodically.
International – John Brewer
· Our
“happy bucks” continue to be dedicated to the Honduran Kids.
Club Service and Administration
– Dennis McConnell
· There
is an opportunity for a Rotary Friendship Exchange to Brazil
· Dennis will be absent for the
October 19 meeting, Mick volunteered
to cover for Dennis
New Generation – Debi (absent) covered by Chud

Solicitations for a new chair, Chandi was
suggested
·
Youth Exchange – requires three families. The
student comes for an entire year. It was
suggested that we ask someone from the Moscow club make a presentation at one
of our regular meeting, detailing their recent experience with the program.

business
International Picnic – Gary Schell (not present)

The board discussed the success of this year’s
edition; he will recommend that we continue the project, but we should do better
with budgeting
Lentil Festival – Kurt
·
Friday and Saturday wine sales with the Chamber
netted the club $450. The board
advocates we continue the project next year.
