Dear
Rotarian,
Welcome
to the September issue of ClubRunner News, the online news
bulletin for Rotary Clubs and Districts.
In this
quarterly edition you will find the latest tips and tricks,
product and industry news to help you connect, collaborate and
communicate with your current and prospective
members!
With
over 15,000 Rotarians in attendance, the Rotary
International 2010 Convention was a great success for
ClubRunner.
For 5 days, the ClubRunner booth had
a wide variety of activities taking place. ClubRunner
Champions from various countries, had a chance to meet
and greet each other, then happily rolled up their
sleeves and shared their love for ClubRunner by sharing
best practices, evangelizing and just simply showing off
their site to up and coming ClubRunner users. Our booth
was always busy and the ClubRunner team was able to
successfully connect, collaborate and communicate with
hundreds of Rotarians from around the globe.
We're in an
era where club members want to be in the know and have
the option to actively engage and provide input to their
club's existence. Some clubs are using tools similar to
Facebook or LinkedIn to both communicate with prospects
as well as to increase online communications and
interactions among members. However, these alone cannot
effectively achieve the goal of maximum exposure and
member engagement. By having a website, your club can
enhance its public image and promote goodwill in the
community.
A better
understanding and appreciation on the different needs,
goals and desires from the four different generations
can help club officers attract and engage more members.
Without knowing how best to promote your club and build
awareness in hopes to increase membership can create
frustration and disengagement.
Read on to find
out how you can build and maintain a club where all
generations are can benefit from each other, are
welcomed and valued.
