Zone 22 saw a new website launched on July 1, 2003, as it officially adopted the
ClubRunner framework for their business portal.
The goal of the site is
to be a good source of information, as well as manage the club and membership
information for some 23 districts in Canada, USA, France and Russia.
New Zone Website

Zone 22 will see a new web site
launched on July 1, 2003. The site
will use the Club Runner web site
design and system. Club Runner by
Doxess is being used by several clubs and
districts in the Zone. The software allows
a number of people to have access
and manage selected areas of the web
site. One person does not have to manage
all uploads. RI Direct Elect John
Eberhard has a team of Rotarians developing
and designing the site.
Selected Zone committee chairs will
manage segments of the web site. The
Northern Lights News and the Zone
membership newsletter Membership
Matters will be available on the new
Zone 22 site for download and will be
archived. Stories of interest to Zone 22
Rotarians will be posted on the web site
regularly. The goal is to have an information
centre you will want to visit
every week for current stories, updates
and information on Zone events.
There will be links to Rotary web sites of interest.
In the future a calendar of Zone
and Multi-district events will be posted
on the site.
The site will allow for future on line
registration for the Zone Instititute and
on line purchase of tickets for events
such as the Northern Lights Breakfast.
The site will be used to maintain the
Zone directory on secure pages and
utilized for the distribution of e-mail
notices to Zone leaders. The site represents
a significant advance in communications
across the 14 time zones in
Zone 22.
What would you like to see on the Zone
web site? Please contact RIDE John
Eberhard and let him know what you
would like to see on the Zone web site.
