"As part of our strategic planning, we are looking at new and innovative ways to communicate. Modern technology should help us immensely as our district is very large geographically and has not felt the cohesiveness of smaller districts. We hope to change that through electronic communication, teleconferencing and other methods of contact," says District Governor Claudette Holly, who has been spearheading the initiative to move communications to an online format.

"I believe that as more individuals and clubs become involved in “building” the website, it will become a marvellous communication tool that will allow our clubs and members to share their ideas, projects, challenges and successes."
