For two days this summer the second annual “Art on the Severn” Juried Art Show and Sale will be held in Washago, Ontario July 10 - 11, 2010. This event will showcase a wide variety of art forms.

Festival organizer, Marilyn Brooks says “What a weekend we have in store for Washago and for participating artists. We hope to draw on the success of last year's event to make the 2010 Art on the Severn even bigger and better.”

For artists wishing to submit an application form, please read the Application Package carefully (left) and submit your completed Application Form along with all required documentation within the prescribed time period. All applications will be considered. The deadline for submissions is Friday, May 14th, 2010.

Brooks’ Art on the Severn Committee has developed an event that has motivated many community groups to get involved, creating an old fashioned small town community spirit. The Washago Community Centre will host the Art Show & Sale which has attracted artists from all parts of the province. All artwork will be available for purchase by the general public on Saturday, July 10th and and Sunday, July 11th. Admission to the weekend event is free however, donations are gratefully accepted and all proceeds go to supporting the Washago Community Centre and it's many programs.
