Join fellow Rotarians, Rotaractors and other area volunteers for the District of Columbia's annual Schools Beautification Day. Our club will again be working with teachers and administrators at Stanton Elementary to clean and prepare their facilities for the start of the new school year. Stanton is the school where several members tutor each week during the year and where we volunteered for school beautification day last year.

Our Rotary Club was named the Volunteer Group of the Year in 2011-2012 for all of the things that we have done for the DCPS, including Beautification Day, and we want to have a big group for this event.

This is a great project for a new member who is working on his or her blue badge. Donuts and coffee will be provided for all volunteers!

Please register by 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 24, so the event coordinator knows the number of volunteers participating from our club.
