Since 1917, Lions Clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

From involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind,

Today with more than 1.35 million members, 45,000 clubs and a presence in 194 countries, Lions have expanded their focus to help meet the ever-increasing needs of our global community.

The Boy Scouts of America has 5 units in the Town of New Fairfield, made possible by the support of the New Fairfield Lions Club.  Scouting in New Fairfield has a long history with a great many young men who achieved the ultimate goal of Eagle Scout.

The town has two Cub Scout Packs, two Boy Scout Troops and a Venturing Crew; providing the opportunity for Scouting to over 200 boys in the community ranging from the age of 6 to 17. Many Eagle projects were completed in the town by our Eagles and the units are all very active in the community.
