The RotaryClub of North Scarborough was able to donate 8,446 pairs of shoes,valued at $25,000, to orphanages, and other aid groups in Haiti , withthe help of Judy Irving and her organization OneXOne.The shoes were donated by the Tai Lung Group.
Many came together to make this a successful project including Paul Sorley, Catherine Tisdalle, Air Canada and Art Nicholson, Vice-president of Tai Lung who was honored as a Paul Harris Fellow in appreciation for his contribution.
