Please join us for our 40th Sale October 24-25, 2014, Friday 4p-9p and Saturday 9a to 4p at our new venue at Ada Christian School, 6206 Ada Dr., Ada, MI.  All proceeds go to Rotary East Charities, a 501(c)(3) with the mission to serve area youth.

In October of 2013 Paul Heroman of Rotary East Charities presents Patty Sabin, Executive Director of CASA, with a check for $3,000.  The Charities continues to support efforts in assisting our area youth.  Please join us October 24-25, 2014 at Ada Christian School for our 40th Vintage & Antiques Sale.  Proceeds go to 501(c)(3) organizations such as CASA of Kent County.

One of the fastest growing segments of Rotary services is the “Interact” clubs.  The Interact clubs are for young people ages 12-18 and are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs.  Worldwide, there are more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and 200,000 youth involved.  The 2012-2013 Rotary year marks the 50th anniversary of the first chartered Interact group.

Mat Peabody receives a crystal gavel as a thank you for a job well done by Kay Bernard.  In turning over the reins of the Club, a list of accomplishments are included in the bulletin.  Some of the accomplishments were: completed Vision Exercise & Strategic Plan, improved Balance Sheet, successful Vintage, Antique & Collectible Sale and increased membership.

Kay takes over as Club President for 2012-2013 from Mat Peabody.  Mat did an outstanding job leaving Kay an increasing membership.  Her fun attitude will make for a GREAT year!

Patty Sabin, Executive Director of CASA of Kent Count  received a grant of $3,000 from Paul Heroman President of Rotary East Charities at the Watermark County Club on June 5, 2012.  This Grant will have matching funds from the State of Michigan and will help in the training of new advocates.

 Please join us November 2-4, 2012 for the Sale benefiting local charities devoted to the needs of the area children.  In the past 38 years the Sale has contributed over $650,000 to the local charities.  The Sale will again be at the Delta Plex.  Last years attendance topped 1,700 patrons.  We are planning to surpass 2,000 patrons which benefits the local charities.

 In a very brief ceremony President Mat receives the gavel from President Stan on July 5, 2011.  Thank you to Past President Stan for all his service!  This was his second tour of duty as President.  We wish both Past President Stan well and all the best to President Mat.
