Interact Club News

On 5/7/11 The DeBary/Deltona Interact club from Trinity Christian Academy traveled to the Jacksonville area and joined forces with 100 Interact members from our district. They  had a rewarding experience talking with each other, and putting together 40,500 meals for children around the world.  Later in the day, the Rotary Club Members for our district joined forces to help the kids working. Mr. Robinson joined in a group and looked so cute in his hair net.  Mr. McDevitt (Interact Sponsor) and Mrs. Yelle (One of the parents) joined in with the teams.  All the work was completed in about 4 hours.

  • Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club.
  • Vocational Service encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high ethical standards.
  • Community Service covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its community.
  • International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.
  • New Generations Service recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities, service projects, and exchange programs.
