Another successful event on April 3 this year, and was a SOLD OUT crowd! Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. This year 16 restaurants participated on White Rock Beach and at the Five Corners, with 640 attendees. The food and wine was excellent and the rain held off. Whew!

Shown here is member Mike Gibson with his wife and members of his group of 40 participants arriving at one of their stops along Marine Drive.
Thanks to the organizing committee under Peggy who once again did a great job. The club raised approximately $23,000 for our various local and international programs.

Semiahmoo Rotary has a history of supporting the hospital almost from the club's beginning. The club's support is at several levels.

The Rotary Club of Semiahmoo has partnered with the Peace Arch Hospital and Community Health Foundation to sponsor one of the eight Birthing Rooms at the Peace Arch Hospital.

This $150,000 commitment spans several years so we can leave a legacy for Rotary and have a significantly improved birthing experience for the Doctors, Moms and Dads of the 800 babies that are delivered in the hospital annually.

The existing ward which is being replaced was built in the 1960s. Shown here is the manager of maternity services in the new birthing room.

The Semiahmoo Rotary Club has partnered with the City of Surrey to create the Recreational Picnic Shelter adjacent to the Rotary Field House in South Surrey Athletic Park. The Picnic Shelter was built to commemorate the 20th Anniversary (1989-2009) of the Semiahmoo Rotary Club.
