Wright on Feb 12, 2011 The Rotary Club of Kern River Valley helps support many local charities and non-profits, as well as International projects (End Polio, Mosquito Nets for African, Haiti Relief, etc.). Following our largest event in yearts, the Rotary KRV USO Stage Door Canteen (see photos), our treasury is at it's lowest point in years. We have a number of big fund-raisers coming (Whiskey Flat Days in February, Rotary KRV Run to Eradicate Polio in early April, our Car Show in May, etc.). To raise money so we can continue our support of deserving local projects, we are planning to hold 3 bake sales over the next 90 days. To offer something for our bake sale, CONTACT: Cheryl Wright (760) 608-9861 Our first Bake Sale on Saturday, January 15, 2011, made $272 for our charities. Rotarians Elaine Forge, Richard Rowe, Darlene Wolowiec & Cheryl Wright manned our tables.

She has returned home changed by the experience, seeking a way to help the people she met there in a concrete way that eludes her. | | Posted by Richard Rowe We are all excited to see how ClubRunner will revolutionize the way we manage our day to day club activities, as well as communicate more effectively.
