| Posted by Debby Lauret Seven golf teams from the Rotary club competed in the chamber AF Business Classic at Thanksgiving Point on Sept 2. The proceeds from the tournament will go to help with dictionaries and other humanitarian projects. The tournament also raised food and money for the Utah Food Bank. 464 lbs of canned goods were raised as well as $75 in cash were given to the food bank to provide food for their empty shelves. The tournament was a partnership with the chamber and was a success. |

They are a lovely venue and will be providing us with a delicious lunch buffet weekly. The address is 198 W 300 N American Fork. They have wi-fi capability and are excited to host us weekly. | Posted by Robert Shelton On Thursday September 3, 2009 the American Fork Rotary Club hosted a "Meet the Candidates" night at Barratt Elementary School. Council woman, Heidi Rodeback said that "it was one of the most successful meet the candidates events she has been to on a city level". The crowd was estimated at about 110-125 people. The oldest individual that could be found at the event was a 96 year old woman who expressed her appreciation for the event. |
