David Hamilton, Cheryl Legette and Phil Bettendorf David Hamilton will serve as the 94th president of the Athens Rotary Club in 2013-14. President-elect Phil Bettendorf made the announcement at the Christmas party. It was a big night for David as he learned that he had won the LaRocca Derby for the year as well. Naturally, the announcement was well received. | Apr 09, 2013 We will start at 12:15 this week. Our GRSP student, Amanda Koppang Wilfors, will address the club for the final time as a student at UGA. She will have family join us as well. In addition, we will have a tribute to Clementi and H. Randolph Holder. Members of the Holder family will also join us this week. We will also recognize the Athens Tech GOAL student. The board will meet at 11:00 | | Feb 19, 2013 Our ground breaking is scheduled for Friday,March 1st. The time will be determined. Our first buildwill be Saturday, March 2nd. We need ten volunteersthis first week. The number of volunteers we need each Saturday willchange based on the various stages of the build. Our intern, Jake Sapp,will be signing up volunteers.We are alsolooking for lunch sponsors on our Saturday Habitat builds. Please letJake know if you can help us. |
