Join the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs Prime in its inaugural 100 Holes of Golf Fundraising Event.Who: All are welcomed! We need event golfers and sponsors: Rotarians, local nonprofit organizations, supporters and friends. No experience required.
What: Fundraising that culminates in a day of golf festivities. Golfers will play 10 holes at 10 tees to complete the 100 holes of golf.
Where: King’s Deer Golf Club

How: We will have up to 10 team captains. Each team captain is responsible for putting together a team of 10 event golfers, themselves included. Each golfer will obtain $2,500 in sponsorship. Sponsors can support a golfer per hole or for a flat amount.
Beyond the W’s:
Experience: No golfing experience is needed. Participants need only to be willing to hit the golf ball by any means necessary and complete 100 holes of golf.
Tee huts and other activities: Without a doubt, fun will be had. Through the course, we will have various themed tee huts with refreshments and activities to keep the good times flowing.
Prizes: We’re working with Rotary partners to offer amazing awards and incentives to the top event captain and golfer who raise the most funds.
Proceeds: All proceeds will be distributed to various local nonprofits which participate in the event and the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs and are tax deductible to the sponsors.

On Friday, August 8, the Club will meet Nicholas Baldwin, Greg Cichon and Alex LaPlante. These 3 young men were our representatives at this year's RYLA camp in Glenwood Springs. RYLA stands for Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Our district RYLA weekend was held June 13-16 at the Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley Campus.
Please attend Rotary that day and hear what the next generation of potential Rotarians has to say about their experience.

Here ye! Here ye! Butterflies are fluttering around town, which means it’s silent auction time for this Rotary Club. Have a timeshare that needs using, a friend that has a quaint restaurant, unused electronics left over from the birthday you’re still pretending never happened, perhaps a lovely bottle of wine or a hard bottle of scotch. Bring it all forth and we’ll pass it forward for the good of the kids. Contact Michelle Parvinrouh at email@example.com should you have any donatable items you’d like to contribute. Please plan on picking up your five raffle tickets for the Butterflies and Friends event before or after this Friday’s
Rotary meeting. Envelopes are in alpha order on a table in the lobby. After you sell the raffle tickets you may
give cash or check and raffle ticket stubs to Doug King, Ana Kasischke or Theresa Sidebotham. There is an
expectation that each member of the club will sell at least five tickets.
Please contact Bob Holmes with any questions.

We need event volunteers and golfers!
Want to participate, but not play? Great! We need volunteers.
Know of someone who might be interested in joining Prime? This is a fun way to introduce them to our club, it's mission, and our members.
This is not your typical golf event, so absolutely no experience is needed to participate. Please join us at an evening meeting or ask one of your fellow Primers for more information. We are excited to work with you to build this opportunity for the club to further its impact in our great community and beyond!

Big thanks to all the Rotarians and helpers who installed this year's group of butterflies around the city, especially Charlie Brown who organized it all.
