It has been twenty years since the last case was reported in the Americas. While India seems on track again for 2013 to achieve zero polio cases, frantic efforts are underway in the other polio-endemic countries. Let us all rededicate ourselves to the cause and keep fighting to eradicate Polio from the face of the earth. You can download Rotary International's "End Polio Now" bimonthly newsletter by Clicking On This Link. It was updated April 2013. The bottom line is this: As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, all children – wherever they live – remain at risk. You can track the progress on the internet of Polio eradication at this link. There is a Rotary International Link here. | | If you need information included in the web pages, want to comment or need something done on the web page, please contact the webmaster by clicking on this link: Email SJ Rotary Webmaster Please do not contact the Rotary Office about the web pages.
