Established in 1923, The Newton Rotary Club is a service organization that brings together business and professional men and women to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  Our members are volunteers who work locally, domestically and internationally to improve the lives of others.  Through our hard work and dedication Newton Rotary has supported dozens of organizations including The Newton Memorial Hospital, Sussex County Community College, United Way, American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity, as well as provide scholarships to local high school students.

Additionally, Newton Rotary has been involved in numerous international projects including Polio +, an undertaking designed to eradicate Polio worldwide; The Gift of Life, a program which provides medical assistance to seriously ill children.  As a club the Newton Rotary has also donated buses, clothing and medical supplies to schools and orphanages in Mexico.

If you are interested in finding out more about Newton Rotary we invite you to join us for lunch at the Lafayette House in Lafayette New Jersey.  Please contact John Frank at jvfrank@embarqmail.com for more information.

EREY-EN-cEvery Rotarian Every Year

“Every Rotarian Every Year” is a Rotary Foundation program that asks every Rotarian to contribute something to TRF each Rotary Year.

When you contribute US$100.00 or more each year to the Foundation’s Annual Programs Fund (APF), you become a Foundation “SUSTAINING MEMBER.” Your generosity enables Rotarians to work together across oceans and vast terrain to find innovative solutions to complex problems that plague villagers in remote areas, as well as city dwellers.

US$100.00 can buy tuition and books for one year of school for two children in Kenya. US$500.00 can buy a ten-month food supply for a child in Guatemala. US$1,000.00 can provide clean drinking water for over 300 people in India.
