Sam Pasco and his talented group of musicians completed their 35th Holiday Stroll on December 28th 2011.
Sam and his group performed over 40 times at 40 different venues over a four week period this holiday season. Some of the venues included hospitals, nursing homes, convents, children's hospitals, and so on. These performances were free for all who attended.
Sam has selflessly coordinated these heart-warming performances for the past 35 years. Thanks to Sam and his group of talented musicians, thousands of people who were spending the holidays in hospitals, nursing homes, and places other than at home with their families, have been able to enjoy Sam and his group's performance of holiday music.
The Bloomfield Rotary Club received dozens of thank you letters from the facilities that Sam and his group performed at.
The Bloomfield Rotary Club would like to thank Sam and his group for the wonderful work done in our community this past holiday season, and the 34 preceeding holiday seasons.
In a recent letter to our club president, Sam writes:
"President Ken!
This year's music visits to more than 40 facilities was the greatest and best received of my 35 years of doing this Rotary Project. I share with you and all of my Bloomfield Rotary brothers and sisters the blessings we received from so many grateful patients in the area hospitals, nursing and senior homes, the Sisters of St. Joseph at their convent, Hebrew Home and Hospital, and on and on.
I remain grateful to you all.
Sam Pasco"
Thank you, Sam, for the great work you've done to touch so many lives over the years!
