We could color-code a map and indicate how many countries across the world are receiving money, assistance or guidance from District 5450 clubs. We could direct reader’s attention to projects that recycle computers for kids, create a youth expo, build houses for troops and fill backpacks with food for hungry students. Oh, the tales we could tell!
On the global scale, you will find the presence of District 5450 all over the world. We are fixing wells,
building latrines, delivering devices, distributing literature, vaccinating children, erecting schools, and so much more. To get an idea of the vast amount of projects we are involved in, I encourage you to attend the District Conference and visit the House of Friendship. This is the ultimate ‘Show and Tell’ event. Clubs are lined up with displays, music, volunteer sheets, and most of all pride for what their clubs have achieved. The House of Friendship will awe you, inspire you and make you proud to be a Rotarian … of that I am certain.
I look forward to seeing you at the House of Friendship in Vail at our District Conference on April 26, 27
and 28.
Sincerely, Mike
