Mayor Jim Watson and newly inducted Police Chief Charles "Chuck" Bordeleau celebrated the success of ten years of the ABCs of Fraud program with members of our club. They clearly are very strong supporters and the Ottawa Police Service re-committed their endorsement of the program. Both noted how the club needs to continue to support the program particularly given our aging society. They see the club playing a key role in helping to "fraud - proof" seniors.

Teresa Qadri and Leo Maiorino of the Rotary Club of Ottawa Stittsville along with Graeme Fraser and Linda Flynn of West Ottawa were interviewed by Kurt on CTV Ottawa Morning Live.
Graeme Fraser spoke of the 3 year commitment of $25K per year of the RC of West Ottawa. The Rotary Club of Ottawa Stittsville presented a cheque for $9,000 as their first instalment of a total $30,000 commitment.

Over 5,225 potted chrysanthemums were delivered this past weekend by over 140 teams. Our partners MADD, Meals on Wheels/MBNA MOW, Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville, Carleton University Lacrosse, Engineers without Borders, Rotary Club of Nepean Kanata, Rotary Club of Orleans, Rotoract Club of Ottawa-Valley, and Rotary Club of South Nepean helped the Rotary Club of West Ottawa have yet another great succesful campaign.
