Weymouth Rotary Remembers Carl Beane
Carl Beane, "The Voice of Fenway" Red Sox announcer, who we had the pleasure of having as our Master of Ceremonies at Installation last July, passed away today after a fatal car accident. We are so sorry to hear of a passing of such a great man. For those who attended, I'm sure you will recall that he went out of his way to make everyone welcome...He posed for every photo asked...let everyone try on his Championship Ring, told story after story and stayed the whole night, laughing and joking as we walked out the door. Thank you for being you, Carl...your voice will be missed, but you will always be remembered.
