| Posted by Pat Gory Oregon/Northwood Rotarians distributed a personalized dictionary to each third grader in the Oregon and Northwood schools system for the literacy project. The students really appreciate their own resource book in helping them learn proper spelling, grammar and usage of words. Rotarian Peg Weisenburger coordinated the successful fundraiser for the club (ELDER BEERMAN COUPON BOOK sales) to raise the money to purchase the dictionaries. Rotarian Annelle Ritter coordinated the distribution. The Oregon/Northwood club raised over $300 to support the dictionary service project! Kudos to each of you and a pat on the back for meeting the educational needs of our youngsters! |
