Welcome to the Sequim Sunrise Rotary website. The first question many folks have is, “What is Rotary?” Rotary is the world’s largest service organization. There are more than 1.2 million Rotary members in 33,000 clubs worldwide.
ImageThe Sequim Sunrise Rotary club has over 79 active volunteers working locally and internationally to improve and/or provide health, education, and public services. The premonition of peace and the eradication of polio are Rotary Internationals top priority.

Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self” and we recite the Four Way Test at every meeting.

Of the things we think, say or do:

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

What does our Rotary club do?
We raise money and donate to the Boys & Girls Club, the Wellness Clinic, Foster Parents, the animal shelter and many others. Our members manage the local Kid’s Day Event for the Irrigation Festival, march in the Festival Parade and organize the Holiday Dinner for local seniors. We build hiking trails, handicap ramps, paint homes and build community gardens. We decorate neighborhoods with the Flag on major holidays, award scholarships, sponsor & host international exchange students, build classrooms in Mexico and the Dominican Republic and water wells in Haiti. We are involved in our community and the world.

Interested in becoming a Rotarian?
Click on any one of the “Directors” links on the left and let them know. You will be contacted and invited to attend one of our weekly meetings to learn more regarding what Rotarians are all about.
