MONDAY'S MEETING

Columbus Rotary will NOT meet on Monday, May 28, 2012 in observance of MEMORIAL DAY. Our next scheduled meeting will be on June 4, 2012 when we return to the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

We encourage visitors and guests at all of our meetings. Please contact the office in advance should you have someone attending with you. The lunch fee for all guests is $15.

Do you know a member who deserves recognition? Columbus Rotary is now accepting nominations for its Annual Exemplary Service Awards which recognize members of our Club who express qualities of exemplary commitment in any of Five Avenues of Service: Club Service, Community Service, International Service, New Generations Service or Vocational Service. Nominations forms are available at this link and must be submitted to the Club office by end of day May 16. If you have questions, contact Steve Heiser.

Exemplary Service Awards are granted to Columbus Rotarians who have gone above and beyond in following our motto of “Service Above Self.” Prior selection for an Award does not preclude an individual’s selection again. Exemplary Service Award winners receive a special pin and framed certificate. A $250 donation will also be made to the Columbus Rotary Foundation Cap Ingalls Endowment Fund in their name. The Cap Ingalls Fund is a permanent endowment fund established in 1974 under the direction of Past President Chuck Nitschke and named for our organizing secretary Cap Ingalls.
