Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a lifelong disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to other people and the world around them. Those affected typically display major impairments in three areas: social interaction, communication and behavior (restricted interests and repetitive behaviors).

The Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club recently delivered over $13,000 in annual donations to various nonprofits and community projects in the Fox Valley community.

The 2011-2012 Kiwanis year was another outstanding year for the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis service club and celebrated the year at their recognition breakfast on September 28th at Touchmark on West Prospect in Appleton. The Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club accomplished 79 service projects and just under 2,500 hours of service to the community during the Kiwanis calendar year.
