District 6650 Youth Exchange Program will select Outbound students for the 2012-13 School year in the next few months. We will restrict the number of Outbounds to match the number of Inbound students our clubs commit to sponsor. Our committee will contact each club to determine their commitment for hosting an Inbound student in the 2012-13 school year. Rotary District 6650 Youth Exchange officers will conduct a training for 2011-12 Host Families on August 13 at Don Pancho’s Tex Mex Café 2105 West State Street, Alliance Ohio . Two sessions will be offeered so attendees can select the one that meets their schedule best. Session One will begin at 10 AM and end at Noon. Session Two will begin at 1 PM and end at 3 PM. All Host Families should be represented at this training. Information on hosting, State Department requirements, Youth Protection, District Youth Exchange resources, Schedules, and other topics will be shared. The 2011-12 District 6650 Youth Exchange Committee will meet at Brandon's Iron Steak House in Alliance on August 13 from Noon to 1PM. The purpose of this meeting will be to make plans for the Inbound Student Orientation scheduled for August 27 at Camp Stambaugh. Members of the committee have been notified via email and are expected to attend. |
