Paine Field Fly-Out

Hopefully in April, Victoria Flying Club will have their first successful fly-out after series of bad weather.

On April 12th, we will be flying to Paine Field in order to visit Boeing Factory, as well as Future of Flight Museum. I am still working on the logistical details but expect the fly-out to leave Victoria earlier than previous fly-outs due to customs procedures and factory tour timings.

At this point, I need everyone planning on coming to reply to this email ASAP regardless of any other email or conversation we may have had. Once I have a better idea about numbers, I will then finalize logistical details. Due to the heavy logistical planning required, last minute sign ups will not be guaranteed a spot on the factory tour or parking at Paine Field.

Please email flyoutbug@gmail.comto sign up ASAP.

Established in 1968, we are a BC registered non-profit society, based at the Qualicum Beach Airport (CAT4) on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC. We have a friendly group of very enthusiastic and active members.

Parksville-Qualicum Aero Club first came into being in the late 1950’s, when the five founding members got together at the Qualicum Beach Airport site way out in the bush near Qualicum Beach, BC, to throw around the idea of forming a club, putting up some money and leasing an airplane the members could fly.

Today, PQAC has a membership of over 90, ranging in age from 18 to . . . well you get the picture. There are several seasoned pilots who call PQAC home.
